My favorite part of the job - Homepage Planning! Not only working closely with the buyers and marketing team, but also my Creative team to determine the mood and copy on each Banner. Here are just some of my favorite Homepages!

The biggest challenge at Uncommongoods was always merchandising a variety of product all on one page. How do you make a bowl sit next to necklace? A candle with a child’s toy?

The answer? Everyone’s favorite shelf. We all have them, we all cherish them whether it’s for organizing or displaying. This first homepage, the first one I planned, was made to speak to everyone’s shelf.

This next one, planned around Halloween, was our first Video Homepage! Smoke billowed from the Cloche and took the customer to some of our favorite kitchen products.

Next was a Valentines’ Day Banner, our first split top. The left side directing the customer to Women’s product, the right to Men’s. These two body products were big sellers, and truly elevated the Homepage experience.

The last one, another Valentines’ Day, was a great opportunity to show the breadth of UG’s jewelry. Whether the customer was looking for something special and customized, fun, or sweet, they knew immediately they could get it all here.
